Welcome to the World of Sand & Ice!
W.I.S.C.I. (= World Ice & Sand Carving Institute) ist eine Organisation, die es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, die Welt des Sand- und Eiscarvings publik zu machen. W.I.S.C.I. wird als unabhängige Organisation Regeln erstellen, die einheitliche Wettbewerbe im Sand- und Eiscarven auf internationaler und nationaler Ebene ermöglichen. W.I.S.C.I. setzt sich zusammen aus einem Stamm internationaler Sand- und Eiskünstler, sowie unabhängiger, wissenschaftlich tätiger Fachleute in diesem Bereich. W.I.S.C.I. hat als Nachfolger den internationalen Bereich von SANDCITY übernommen, und hat damit die Nachfolge als Ausrichter der ersten Weltmeisterschaften der Sandskulpteure in Deutschland in 2008 und 2009 (s. Gallery) angetreten. W.I.S.C.I. sitzt in Düsseldorf/Deutschland. | |

Welcome to the World of Sand & Ice! W.I.S.C.I. (= World Ice & Sand Carving Institute) is an organisation dedicated to making the world of sand and ice carving known to a wider audience. Acting as an independent organisation, W.I.S.C.I. will draw up rules making it possible to hold competitions in sand and ice carving under uniform conditions at national and international level. W.I.S.C.I. is made up of a group of international sand and ice artists as well as independent experts operating in this field. W.I.S.C.I. has assumed responsibility for the international aspects of SANDCITY, succeeding to the organisers of the first World Championships in Sand Sculptures in Germany in 2008 and 2009 (see gallery). W.I.S.C.I. has its headquarters in Düsseldorf/Germany. |

Bienvenue dans l’univers du Sable & de la Glace ! Le W.I.S.C.I. (= World Ice & Sand Carving Institute) est une organisation dont le but est de faire connaître l’univers de la sculpture sur sable et glace. Le noyau du W.I.S.C.I. se compose de sculpteurs internationaux sur sable et glace mais aussi d’experts indépendants qui exercent une activité scientifique dans ce domaine. Le W.I.S.C.I. a pris la succession du secteur international de SANDCITY et est devenu, à ce titre, l’organisateur attitré des premiers championnats du monde de sculpture sur sable en Allemagne en 2008 et 2009 (voir Gallery). Le siège du W.I.S.C.I. se trouve à Düsseldorf en Allemagne. |

¡Bienvenido al mundo de la arena y el hielo! W.I.S.C.I. (= World Ice & Sand Carving Institute) es una organización que tiene como objetivo hacer público el mundo de la escultura de hielo y de arena. W.I.S.C.I. se creará con unas normas de organización independientes que harán posible una competición única de escultura de hielo y arena a nivel nacional e internacional. W.I.S.C.I. se compone de un grupo de artistas internacionales de la arena y el hielo así como de profesionales independientes que colaboran activamente en esta área. W.I.S.C.I. ha asumido el cargo de sucesor en el campo internacional de SANDCITY y por eso se une a la sucesión como organizador de los primeros campeonatos del mundo de escultura de arena en Alemania en 2008 y 2009 (ver Galería). W.I.S.C.I. tiene su sede en Düsseldorf/Alemania. |
